The SAILING Champions League: Asia Pacific after a one year break are coming back to Geelong and the Festival of Sails to host the 2022 Qualifier.  The top clubs from around Australia that have not already qualified for the SCL:AP Finals in Newcastle in March 2022 have a last chance to fight it out for their sport.

The regatta will be raced within meters of the shore and new breakwater directly off Steampacket Gardens and run over two days of a Qualification Series (25/26th Jan) with then the top four teams making it through to the exciting Final Four Series around 3pm on Australia Day (26th Jan).  In this exciting Final Four Series the team that is the first to two first place races wins the overall event.

    Typical NSL events include a round-robin Qualifying Series of up to 45 races. Teams rotate through the boats in each flight so that each team competes against every other team and sails in every boat. The top 4 teams from the Qualifying Series compete in the Final Series.
