2021 SCL:AP – FINAL (U22 & Open). Newcastle 9/10/11th April.

The SAILING Champions League is coming back to The Hunter River, Newcastle and have partnered up with the Newcastle Cruising Yacht Club and the City of Newcastle for this years final. Newcastle forms the perfect backdrop for the SCL:AP Finals and we are please to be a part of Newcastle major sailing festival called SAILfest and look forward to being at the center of the of the action.

Like the recent SCL:AP – Qualifier 2 event, racing will be held immediately of Honeysuckle Wharf in the center of town and provide a great backdrop for spectating.

Direct qualifying for the Final will be through the two Qualifying Regattas (Q1&2), however we have also opened up the invitations to those clubs from other States that have been unable to compete in the Qualifying Regattas due to COVID restrictions. Thus although unlikely that we will have international teams this year we will have teams representing clubs from all States as well as the Northern Territory.

The 2021 SCL:AP – FINALs will combine both the U22 and Open divisions, with all teams having a minimum of 2 male and 2 female members.

We are keen to make this event fun for all and if you have any questions please contact us directly.

Entries have now closed and the following clubs will be represented at the Final:
